Membership Classifications
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP - This membership entitles a member, spouse and their children under the age of 23 use of all the facilities of the Catawba Island Club including the pool, tennis courts, fitness center, youth centers, walking trails, and various social activities. Use of facilities with additional fees or charges include the restaurants, hotel, golf course and marina.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP - This membership is available to individuals under the age of 36. It includes all the privileges of the Social Membership at special dues levels plus the added advantage of "locked-in" Initiation Fees. Upon reaching age 36, the scheduled Initiation Fee in effect when the Associate Membership status was assigned are payable on a prescribed payment plan. Additionally, current full social dues are payable at age 36. Associate Members whose parents are members of the Catawba Island Club are not be required to pay an additional Initiation Fee.
SILVER MEMBERSHIP - This membership is available to those members with 25 years of continuous membership. The membership includes all privileges of the Social Membership and provides the additional privileges of "locking-in" dues at rates in effect at the time of attaining Silver status.
WIDOW MEMBERSHIP - This membership is available to widows of Catawba Island Club members. It includes all privileges of the Social Membership at reduced dues levels.
The Classifications listed below are available to Club Members who desire involvement in the following:
YACHTSMEN - Yachtsmen are those Social Members who have full-time dockage assigned to them in the North Harbor. The annual Yachtsmen Association fee allows for participation in special activities as scheduled on the Yachtsmen's Annual Calendar of Events. Full-time dockage is assigned yearly based on availability. Dockage and electrical fees, as determined yearly, will be charged.
ASSOCIATE YACHTSMEN -Associate Yachtsman are Social Members who are entitled to bring their boats into the harbor on a transient-daily basis at no charge. Associate Yachtsmen are charged an annual fee which allows for participation in special activities as scheduled on the Yachtsmen's Annual Calendar of Events. Guest dockage fees are charged for overnight stays and are permitted for up to one week at a time. Reservations for dockage should be made in advance with the Harbormaster or by calling the Front Desk.
GOLFING MEMBERS - All Social Members are entitled to utilize the golf course on a daily fee basis and participate in Club tournaments, leagues and the handicap system. Golfing members are those Social Members who elect to prepay an annual fee for unlimited golf and/or range use.
